So, weight gain is something that I never had a problem with before. I could eat loads of junk and I always remained the scrawny lurp. After the whole marriage thing happened I noticed that I started getting a little flab around my belly. "Hm, that's weird." I would often think to myself.
After the holidays I decided if I didn't nip it in the bud it would just get harder to lose the weight I was gaining, and I really don't ever want to be out of shape. I love doing outside things too much. My diet began.
I started off with a cleanse.......where I didn't eat a single thing for 7 days. I just drank orange juice and water. That was an interesting experiment and I more or less wanted to test my self control. I just wanted to see if I could do it. I lost a bunch of weight. People told me that I would put all the weight back on, so I decided to prove them wrong.
What I've been doing since is simple. I follow the "Eat less, move more" rule. I watch what I eat and I go to the gym a lot. Since new years I've completely cut soda from my diet. I've been doing a lot of swimming and running. I am now training for a triathlon.
I'm no weight loss expert, and most people are in much better condition than I am, but I was excited to see the Before/After results. It seems if you really put your mind to it you can do it.
Next up: Getting those flabby pecs a little larger. Wish me luck, I'm off to the gym.
