Oh the crazy swedes

So, we have 6 swedes living with us in our little apartment.  Not for one week, or two, or three weeks.  FIVE weeks we get to enjoy their company.  It's actually already been three crazy weeks full of craziness.  Don't get me wrong, we've enjoyed having them around.  We're just not used to such a busy household.  They were here for christmas.  That was fun.  Here are some pics.

Here's feli opening a present while sitting on the arm of a couch.  She's wearing grey sweatpants and a red shirt.  That present was a red hoodie from the swedes.  it was cute.
this is the youngest swede residing at our home.  His name is Filip and we call him mr. aggressive.  he is three and can do pull-ups by himself.  bet you couldn't do pull-ups at 3 yrs.
christmas morning with some naked swedish children.  you might notice the swedish ski magazine on the coffee table.  it's a good one with an article about a swedish rapper who is an avid skier.  his name is petter.  yes, with two t's.
notice the air mattress sitting up by the wall.  that's for oscar.  he gets to sleep in the living room at night.  he says it gets cold.  he started wearing a beanie to bed.
we took a small trip up to jackson hole to ski.  the new tram is great, but it was -10 degrees at the top.  my mustache froze.

Cabo is Good

Here we are at lovers beach.  It was pretty rad.  This particular beach is about the size of the average dining room, yeah.... that small.  That's a tunnel going from the sea of Cortez to the pacific.  The ocean would come crashing through from both sides and meet in the middle.  It was nuts.  I (neil) tried to go through it but I got smashed with waves over my head and was scared I'd drown, so I came back out.  The ocean was rising so we booked it out of there.
Getting ready to go to dinner so we got all sorts of pimped out.  Felicia and her smokin purple dress.  Does it get any better?  I borrowed the glasses from my strange brother.  I think they make me look hip and trendy.
The one and only fellis mcguillis.  Isn't she grrrrreat?
Feli and I went scuba diving.  It was one of the most amazing things I've ever done and feli would probably agree.  We saw millions of fish and underwater sand dunes.  We went down about 85 feet.  That's a lot of water above us.  I wish I had an underwater camera, but I think you just have to do it to know how great it is.
And finally here's me on my treasured rip-stick.  If you haven't tried one of these you gots to try it.  It feels like snowboarding/surfing/skateboarding and getting spanked.  It's tricky to learn, but so worth it.  Gary Fifield and I often go for night rides around the neighborhood.

Neil and Felicia Scrooge

I can't believe it's Christmas time!  Neil and I are not being very festive. It's actually starting to make me sad! We don't even have a Christmas tree! We  are so busy this month, we're finding it hard to even find some time to sleep. Thank goodness we're leaving for Cabo San Lucas tomorrow! I think we're both excited for some warm weather, relaxation, fun with the Larson family, and a bit of scuba. As soon as we get back we have our six swedish guest coming to stay with us for 5 weeks or so. We're super excited to spend some time with them and ski our hearts out!
Last night we went on the Polar Express with the Johnson side. Bridger came down with something and was super sick. I felt so bad for him! We still had a ton of fun and it helped get us in the Christmas spirit a little more. Kayley and I had to get up in front of everyone and sing Jingle Bells which was super embarrassing. So here are some pics from that and hopefully we'll come home with some cool adventures to talk about from Mexico.
