John Nolan Shoot went amazing!

The set we built. It was fun.
John Nolan flying.
Neil trying to direct.
17 hour shoots can take a lot out of you. But we made it through! We'd say we're about 75% done with post production and should be ready in a couple of weeks.

PUPPY LOVE!

Announcing the newest LARSON!!! We are so head over heels for this lil' pooch! I told Neil one day that I needed a puppy to keep me company while he was gone on movie shoots and I deserve it cuz he always comes home with expensive computers, motorcycles and camera stuff. He couldn't dispute that so here we are with a pup! It's turned out to be a really fun experience so far. We've had him for a week and potty training is coming along great! He's 8 weeks now and still having accidents but he knows to go potty in the back yard now in stead of just playing with the weeds.
I would have never guessed we would be pet people but now we're the weirdos that are obsessed. We call each other mommy and daddy now.. how annoying is that? haha! OH! and we named him Jimmy. It was the only thing he answered to... and Kayley, yes that was you who came up with that.
These pictures are from our hike to elephant rock on Saturday. He hiked all the way up and he slept the whole way down while Neil held him like a baby. So cute! We love our spunky puppy!

Final thoughts on Ace Enders project and the Premiere

Neil's last music video for Ace Enders', "When I HIT the GROUND" premiered about a week ago on Shockhound.com. It's been an interesting experience to be a part of this project. I was involved with pre-production and the actual filming days and that was the easy part! This whole project came about because of Neil's long term fanaticism with the band, The Early November. The Early November has since broken up and the lead singer and bass guitarist along with a new guitarist and drummer have become ACE ENDERS AND A MILLION DIFFERENT PEOPLE. Neil wanted to do their music video and established a relationship with band's manager and one thing lead to another.. blah blah blah. Neil wrote up a treatment (script for music videos) that was rejected by the band, but I LOVED the treatment, it was so creative, artistic, and intriguing. The band had a different agenda. Their vision was more about sending a message to their audience and relevance was their priority, so of course the world's economic crisis was the subject. Kudos to Ace! Trying to make a difference in the world and send his message. Poor Neil had to work with a complex story that HAD to be split screen and HAD to be and easily followed story. Freaking IMPOSSIBLE task! He spent every waking moment of every day, stayed up way LATE every night and edited the crap out of this video. After all the pain and horror I think he came out on top. After it premiered on shockhound.com, we quickly realized this video was under public scrutiny! Blogs and forums filled with people's opinions and honest they were! It's been fun and a great learning experience to see people's good and bad comments about it. We think for the most part people liked it, and the bad comments? haha! they're kinda funny and definitely make us think.
Posted here is the shockhound link and then one of the forums we enjoyed called absolutepunk.com. Feel free to leave comments :).

We both really enjoyed this project and the crew, cast and band were just a dream to work with. We're grateful for what we learned and the friendships we gained! Now moving forward to the next project that's awaiting us (and when I say "us" I mean Neil)!

I think it's time again...

I have the bug to travel again! I think it's about time we go on a trip. The past 10 days or so Neil's been gone on a movie shoot and I haven't seen him at all. That might be part of the reason why I want to go on vacation. I love vacations cuz I get to spend every moment with Neil! and I love seeing new places. I watch this little clip to remember how bad it sucks to get up and go to work every morning. I want to sleep late in this room.....

Bad-A Huzby

This a cute little picture of Neil looking hard-core. That's a face of a man who will protect his wifey at all costs, right? Or defend Israel.

2 YEARS yo!

Two years now for Neil and I, and it's me (Felicia) writing this, and it honestly feels like I've been married to this guy for centuries! I think it's because we've done so much! I love this kid with all my heart and I'm so happy to be with him. He's such a good little buddy to hang out with all the time and deal with my 4 year old-ish-ness. It's kinda cool what we've done in 2 years, well it is to me, so let me bore you with our dreams, accomplishments and goals. Before you ask when we're going to have kids, we have to visit every continent (maybe not Antarctica) and we've only hit up 2 so far (with 10 countries). We've bought a house, that's kinda a milestone to us, but the whole mortgage thing is a doosie! We're still heavily involved in film making and Neil somehow got me more interested in film making and watching than I ever thought I would be. We love it! uh-oh... i think i've ran out of dreams, accomplishments and goals.. haha! that was ambitious. Anyway, I sure do love that Neil, he's a funny cuss and I'm excited to hang out with him FOrEVeR! Wish us luck! ;)

You're-a-peein' trip

Well, the big day arrived so my father Garold Larson Sr. drove us to the airport. Looks like Feli had a little too much um....hot chocolate?
Ah, Big Ben. We made it to London and found sunshine and beautiful weather. We had some serious jet-lag.
Buckingham Palace.........we got the chance to have dinner with the queen. We had swine.
London bridges falling down. I was surprised how bright blue the paint was. Oh, Feli wants you all to notice that her gum matches her summer scarf.
Here we are at Windsor Castle. It's Feli's favorite place and I could tell why. The castle was HUGE and amazing in every way. The views were incredible and we even got to see the changing of the guard. Well, we watched it for like 5 seconds and got bored. Just a bunch of dudes dressed up in silly outfits putting on a show for the tourists.
Yeah......it's kinda like that.
While we were waiting to get into the palace of versailles I got some baguettes. Oh yeah, now we're in France. The chunnel thing was cool.
So this palace was too amazing to describe. Go there and see for yourself. They just don't build 'em like they used to.
Playing in the gardens.
Yes, this is how we play. So I would hate to do the yard work here.
Just hanging out downtown Paris.
We found Mary.

This little known landmark in paris was WAY bigger than I pictured. Seriously, picture it and times it by 10, then subtract 4.5 and that's about how big it is.

Here's the train we snuck onto, it was a 16 hour train ride to Rome from Paris. I slept for like 10 hours of it, feli slept for like half an hour of it. She no likey that train.
Oh yeah, Notre dame. Freaking awesome. Met this little deformed guy with a hunchback. What's the deal with that?
Ahhh, Italy. What a cool happenin' place. This is inside the Vatican. St. Peter's Basilica was amazing. All the popes are buried there. It's also HUGE. The church office building in Salt Lake could fit INSIDE. Yeah, it was HUGE and amazing and huge and so cool and awesome and sweet. You should go. It's alright.
I am Gladiator. This was a highlight. Everyone says it's smaller than you would think, but I still think it's pretty huge.
Pantheon. Also very awesome.
View from our hotel in Tremezzo Italy, off of Lake Como. It was a nice place.
Lake Como.
This is Feli in Milan Italy heading out to the plane. We were flying to Norway. Ask us about it sometime, it was not easy to get on this flight. We had to sell our souls and kill 2 people just to get on this stupid plane. Feli got her soul back but I don't think I ever will.
My private jet.
Here we were, in Sweden. This is just after we got off the boat from Norway to Sweden. It was past midnight and the sun was still setting. Pretty cool.
Hanging out with our good friend Oscar in Stockholm. We got dinner and ate ice cream. We sat by the ocean and watched the sun set. It took freaking forever.
The last night we stayed at my good friend Viktor's house. He had just gotten home from a bike race in France, so it was good we got to play.

We had a lot of fun, and saw some amazing things. Our lives are now fulfilled and cultured bla bla bla bla. Love you all!

ACE ENDERS

Shot the Ace Enders music video last weekend. It was nuts as ever. In 2 days we had 7 locations, a car wreck scene, hospital scenes, performance scenes, driving scenes, and a whole lot of other stuff. To me the best part of the shoot was hanging out with the band. It's a band that I've loved for a loooooong time and it was pretty sweet getting to know them personally. Oh, the other cool part was flipping my brothers car onto its side. I was a great weekend and am heavily into post production.

Here's a framegrab:

Oh yeah, Feli and I are in Paris right now. Italy tomorrow. More on that later.

The neXt project

Less than 2 weeks to prepare for Ace Enders music video shoot. I am getting the chance to direct it. He's been my favorite artist for the past 6 years or so, I'm super stoked. His band is flying to Salt Lake City and I'm busy gathering a crew to produce the best possible video. Woohoo! Check him out!!

A Tribute to Our Great Friends

Nothing like a night of dying easter eggs and cleaning out our pores.
Weirdo ladies.
Sundance Film Festival.
Mourning our past relationships. :)
The ladies chilling.

DINNER!
Gardener Village
???
Wedding Bells.
My Birthday!

Alright, so most people know that Gary and I have been friends for our whole lives. I moved into his neighborhood when I was 2 years old, and we've been friends ever since. 22 years and counting.

We've worked at many of the same jobs either gas piping, painting cars or delivering mattresses. Well, I was going to go into more detail about the things we've done together, but when I started thinking about it, I think it would be easier to name the things we HAVEN'T done together. Hmmm, okay. I can't think of anything we haven't done together either. I mean, we even share a first name! (my first name is Gary)

Anywho, Gary met this nice young lady named Marci one time. In fact, I was there when they first met. When things started clicking between Gary and Marci we knew Marci was going to be friends with Feli and I for life. Poor Marci didn't really have a choice in the matter. I mean, Gary lived right next to me, and we did pretty much everything together and no female was going to stop us.

Marci has been an awesome sport, putting up with Gary and I. When the weekends roll around, the question isn't "Do you guys wanna do something?" It's more like, "So, what are we doing this weekend?"

Gary and Marci are about to ruin everything and buy a house and be 20 MINUTES AWAY! WHAT? I would be lying if I said I don't feel a little betrayed. If I said I'm not a little hurt. I mean seriously. They're walking straight out of our lives and Feli and I feel helpless.

I just wanted to post a small tribute to our great friendship with the Fifields.
